The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is the conducting body of the RBI Assistant examination. Every year, lakhs of students appear for the RBI Assistant exam across the country. On 17th February 2022, RBI generated a notification regarding 950 vacancies for the position of RBI Assistant. Online Registration for RBI Assistant will start from 8th March 2022, and an online examination will be conducted on 26 – 27 March 2022. RBI Assistant preparation strategy 2022 is one of the most crucial step during the preparation journey of a candidate to clear the exam.

RBI Assistant Syllabus

    • English LanguageIn this section comprehension and Cloze test covers half of the total section. The remaining 20 marks are evenly distributed between Para jumbles, sentence joining, phrase replacement, and sentence improvement.
    • Reasoning Ability – In this section 20 marks are allotted for puzzles, which covers half of the section, and is moderate when it comes to the difficulty level. The remaining section includes inequality & critical reasoning, blood relation, input/output, and data sufficiency.
    • Numerical Ability – Questions in this section are straightforward. There are 15 data interpretation questions in the exam paper further the rest of the paper consists of data sufficiency, quadratic equations, simplifications, and a few questions of arithmetic.

Career growth and promotion in RBI Assistant

There are mainly four scales in the RBI Assistant, for the one who is looking for career growth in this field, which takes place after two years of service minimum. A person must have a graduate/post-graduate degree from the Indian Institute of Banking.
