A normal day in the life of a student in IIM Sambalpur would be waking up a few minutes before class, and sitting through all the classes, assignments, projects and presentations. On a typical day, classes would start at 8:30 in the morning and you will see many students skipping breakfast for an extra hour of sleep. Deadlines are sacrosanct here and entering an 8:30 class at 8:31 would mean no attendance. A class is of 75 minutes with 15-minute breaks in between and there would be about 3-4 classes a day. A day simply does not end with the classes but the most hectic part starts after the class hours. You will be spending most of your time in the library or study rooms working on assignments and projects.
