NITIE Mumbai was already one of the most prestigious MBA colleges in India. But as per the previous admission criteria, only engineers could get admission in the B-school. This has now changed and non-engineers would be able to get into IIM Mumbai as well.
IIM Mumbai MBA Eligibility Criteria 2024
If a student is targeting IIM Mumbai for admission, they should be aware of the eligibility criteria for IIM Mumbai.
- You must hold a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution in any field with 50% aggregate score.
- 45% aggregate score in graduation if you belong to SC, ST or PwD categories.
- The bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification obtained by the candidate must entail a minimum of three years of education after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) or equivalent.
- Final year students are also eligible to apply given that they complete their final semester exams and fulfill the aforementioned criteria at the time of admission.
- You must have undertaken the CAT 2023 exam in order to be eligible for IIM Mumbai admission in the batch of 2024-2026.

Stage I : Minimum CAT Cutoff for IIM Mumbai Admission
For the stage I in the IIM Mumbai admission process, candidates who are able to achieve a minimum of the following overall and sectional percentiles in CAT 2023 will be shortlisted for stage II.

Stage II : PI Shortlisting for IIM Mumbai Admission
From the candidates satisfying the criteria of Stage-I, shortlisted candidates will be called for Personal Interview (PI) based on their CAT 2023 score along with sectional cutoffs considering their reservation category and gender diversity. This means no weightage to academic score and work experience while calling aspirants for the interview rounds.
Stage III : IIM Mumbai Final Admission Criteria
For the final selection, a composite score will be calculated for each of the student for the final IIM Mumbai admission 2024 giving weightage to the following parameters and criteria.
