SC/ST Scholarships offered by IIMA

All the students belonging to the SC and ST category at IIM Ahmedabad are offered Rs 150 per month for 10 consecutive months.

Special Need Based Scholarships by IIM Ahmedabad 

This is for PGP & PGP-FABM students whose annual family income is less than Rs.15,00,000 in the previous academic year. In order to avail this scholarship, candidates have to submit the proof of the income certificate, education loan amount, immovable assets, total number of dependents on the income etc.

IIM Ahmedabad Exit Scholarship

This scholarship is offered to the graduating students who are aspiring to become entrepreneurs. Such students must have a business plan and must have opted out from placement. As per this IIM Ahmedabad scholarship scheme candidates are entitled to receive Rs 30,000 every month for a total of 3 years. 

Scholarship to Students Joining NGO

Students who are wishing to join non profit organisations can avail this IIM Ahmedabad scholarship. Such students get financial assistance for 3 consecutive years and a part of the education loan taken will be partly paid. IIM Ahmedabad scholarship amount for this ranges between Rs 3 – 4 lakhs every year.

Assistantship to IIMA students pursuing PhD

Encouraging students to opt for higher education and go for doctoral degrees, IIMA offers this scholarship ranging from Rs 3 – 4 lakhs for 3 years.

PGP Alumni Endowment Funds

This IIM A scholarship is offered to nine PGP 1 & PGP/FABM II students who have a weaker economic background and are socially challenged. IIM Ahmedabad scholarships amount may range from Rs 2 – 3 lakhs. In return it is expected that the student availing this scholarship will return an equal amount or more than this to support the other students after a time span of 5-7 years when they graduate.

Class of PGP 2001, Peri Viswanath Scholarship

This scholarship has been instituted by the batch-mates of Mr. Peri Viswanath who had an uncertain death due to a road accident. This scholarship is awarded on a merit cum need basis. A total of Rs 4 lakhs is offered under this IIMA scholarship considering the academic proficiency of the students whose annual family income is below Rs 15 lakhs. In order to avail this scholarship the beneficiary must give his consent to contribute in future within 5-7  years and the amount should be equal to or more than the amount granted.

Shri GC Mittal Entrepreneurship Aid

This IIM Ahmedabad scholarship is offered to one student pursuing PGP/PGP-FABM and aspires to start own venture and has opted out from the placement process. As per the IIM Ahmedabad scholarship criteria, the candidate must have a combined family income of less than Rs 8 lakh and has taken an education loan of atleast Rs 10 lakhs.

Smt. J Nagamma Memorial Award

This IIM Ahmedabad scholarship of Rs 15000 is awarded to one PGP student after completion of one year based on the academic performance.
