How to Register for CLAT Counselling 2025

Steps to Register for CLAT Counselling 2025
- Visit the official website of consortium of NLUs – consortiumofnlus.ac.in.
- Now, using your ID and password log into your account and validate the CLAT counselling invitation 2025.
- Now click on the payment button that appears on the screen.
- Pay the CLAT registration fee 2025.

CLAT 2025 Counselling Process
- Declaration of CLAT Results – The results will be announced on December 10, 2024.
- Register for CLAT Counselling 2025 – After the declaration of the results, candidates are informed via mail or SMS to register for CLAT counselling 2025. Candidates have to complete the registration process on or before December 20, 2024.
- Select the preference of NLU – Candidates need to select a minimum of 5 NLUs while registering for the counselling.
- Release of CLAT 2025 merit list – CLAT allotment list 2025 will be released separately for each NLU which will have the list of the candidates who are selected for admission in that particular round.
- Freeze, Float and Exit option in CLAT counselling – Candidates whose names appear in the CLAT seat allotment list have to exercise one option amongst freeze, float and exit. Candidates who are satisfied with the allotted NLU have to choose the freeze option. Candidates who have not got their preferred NLU have to choose the float option and the one who wishes to withdraw their names from the CLAT counselling process have to select the exit option.
- Payment of CLAT counselling fees – Candidates who have to participate in the counselling process have to pay the CLAT counselling fee 2025 of Rs 30,000 for the general category and 20,000 for the reserved category.
- Payment of NLU fees – In order to confirm admission at the allotted NLU, candidates have to pay the NLU fees. The counselling fee will be adjusted in the admission fee.
- Verification of Documents – This is the last step of CLAT counselling process wherein candidates have to report at the NLU that has been allotted and they have to get the documents verified.
Refund of CLAT Counselling Fees 2025
Candidates must know that the CLAT counselling fee will be refunded under various circumstances. The amount of refund will be credited to the same source that was entered during the registration for CLAT counselling 2025. Here are the following circumstances under which the CLAT counselling fees are refunded –
- If the candidate is not allotted any seat during the CLAT counselling 2025.
- If the candidate voluntarily chooses to exit option during the process.
- If during the document verification, a candidate is found to be ineligible then the CLAT counselling fee will be refunded with a deduction of Rs 5000.
