The National Testing Agency has announced the notice for NEET Exam Pattern 2025 on its official website. As per the latest update, the NTA NEET 2025 exam pattern and duration have reverted to its pre-COVID format. Going by the changes, it was found that the paper-pencil-based test will no longer include Section B and optional questions. Thus in NEET 2025 there will be a total of 180 compulsory questions comprising 45 questions each in Physics and Chemistry and 90 questions in the biology section with an exam duration of 180 minutes. However, the marking scheme is expected to remain unchanged from the previous year. NEET 2025 Exam Pattern – Marking Scheme

The NEET exam pattern 2025 has been revised, however, the marking system is expected to adhere to the previous year’s format. As per the NEET marking scheme 2025, 4 marks shall be awarded for every correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect option with no negative marking for unanswered questions.
