A big update just dropped for all the IPMAT aspirants. IIM Amritsar just announced that they are going to accept applications for their newly launched IPM program till 12th April 2025. The college program will require you to appear for IPMAT Indore to be eligible for the course. Therefore, you don’t have to appear for a separate examination. The Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) is a five-year dual-degree program offered by several IIMs for students after Class 12. Now, IIM Amritsar just became the 6th IIM to do so. Additionally, candidates can choose to exit the program after three years with a BSQFE (Bachelor of Science in Quantitative Finance and Economics) degree. The last date to apply for the IIM Amritsar IPM program is 12th April 2025. The IPM program will emphasize applying quantitative techniques to finance and economics. It also combines management, economics, mathematics, and humanities, preparing students for leadership roles. Therefore, it suits all the aspirants who would love to make a career in finance and economics. The program will need you to Mathematics as a compulsory subject in Class 12th. It is recommended to apply for IPMAT Indore first since the IIM Amritsar IPM program application will require your IPMAT Indore application number. The program will focus on these majors–providing opportunities for industry exposure through an internship at the end of 3rd year.

IIM Amritsar IPM Admission 2025
Stage 1: In the first stage, candidates are required to appear for the IPMAT examination conducted by IIM Indore.
Stage 2: In the second stage, candidates will appear for a personal interview if selected based on aptitude test scores. The minimum ATS based on different categories of students will be decided by the admission committee. The ATS will calculated based on individual components of IPMAT.

The final merit list will be determined based on factors like academic profile, communication skills, general awareness, and extracurricular activities.
