How to Check JEE Main Result 2025 Session 1?
As a large pool of candidates start checking their JEE Main Session 1 result, it is common to face errors, delay in loading or some other discrepancies when viewing the result. Following these steps will help candidates check their JEE Main 2025 result for Session 1 at ease.
Step 1: Visit the JEE Main 2025 official website – jeemain.nta.nic.in.
Step 2: Click on the “View JEE Main 2025 Result’ or ‘View ScoreCard’.
Step 3: Enter your JEE Main application number, date of birth and security pin.
Step 4: Click on ‘Submit’. The JEE Main 2025 Session 1 scorecard will pop-up on the screen.

NTA has released the following statistics about the number of candidates who appeared and registered for the JEE exam for January Session in Paper 1 and Paper 2 combined. This will help the candidates understand the level of competition for the session.

JEE Main 2025 Cutoff (Expected)
The JEE Main cutoff for 2025 will be released after both the session 1 and session 2 results are out. The scorecards that candidates have downloaded are not raw scores, they are normalised scores also known as NTA Score. These scores are available in the form of JEE Main percentile. The final JEE Main 2025 cutoff is determined based on the best NTA Score out of both JEE Main sessions.
Conversion of Raw Score to Normalised Score is done in the following manner:
- Total Percentile (T1P) : 100 x No. of candidates in a session with a raw score equal to or less than T1 score) / Total No. of candidates who appeared in that particular session.
- Physics Percentile (P1P) : 100 x No. of candidates in a session with a raw score equal to or less than P1 score) / Total No. of candidates who appeared in that particular session.
- Chemistry Percentile (C1P) : 100 x No. of candidates in a session with a raw score equal to or less than C1 score) / Total No. of candidates who appeared in that particular session.
- Mathematics Percentile (M1P) : 100 x No. of candidates in a session with a raw score equal to or less than T1 score) / Total No. of candidates who appeared in that particular session.

Yes, JEE Mains 2025 Session 1 result was announced on February 12, 2025. Candidates can check their results on the official websites jeemain.nta.ac.in or nta.ac.in by logging in with their application number and password or date of birth.
The expected JEE Main 2025 Session 1 percentile varies by category. General category candidates may need 92-95 percentile, while EWS requires 80-83 percentile. OBC-NCL candidates need 78-81 percentile, SC candidates 59-62 percentile, and ST candidates 45-48 percentile. For General-PwD candidates, the expected range is 0.00 to 0.00230 percentile.
