Post Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics (PGDBA) – Two years, full-time residential programme offered in collaboration with reputed institutes like IIT Kharagpur and ISI, aims to shape aspirants who wish to pursue their career in the field of business analytics. The course is ideal for those who have an inclination towards mathematics.
Doctoral Programme – The programme is for candidates who wish to pursue their advanced studies and research in courses pertaining to management science. Candidates are rewarded with a Ph.D. after successful completion of the course.
Key Student bodies and fests of IIM Calcutta
The consulting club– The Consulting Club offers its members the opportunity to have hands-on experience in consulting while still at the campus studying towards the degree. Recently, they have started an initiative to collaborate with consulting clubs of other old IIMs to work on bigger initiatives
E-cell – E-cell provided a platform for students to bring out the entrepreneur inside them and hone their business skills by thinking about new business ventures based on concrete business models, and getting the right mentorship
Operations Club– Operations Club is meant for the students with interest in Operations and Supply Chain Management. They combine classroom learning with practical exercises comprising Quizzes, Live projects, Simulation games, etc.
Finance and Investment Club– Popularly known as the Fin Club, this club enables students to collaborate with corporate and academia from the Finance sector in order to improve their analytical and quantitative skills.
OutTh!nk– This society encourages learning of business concepts through strategy-based game, brain teasers and puzzles.
INCA- This club acts as a bridge between the students of IIMC and NGOs for achieving their common goal of working towards the social upliftment of the society. They organize several drives for food and clothes and provide free coaching to underprivileged children
Intaglio- It is the annual international Business school summit hosted by the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta which serves as a platform to facilitate the interaction of eminent personalities from the industry, academia, media, and government by holding conferences, workshops, and seminars by experts in different fields on a wide range of topics. Intaglio also includes many competitive and non-competitive events for B-school students, which attract participation from world-renowned institutions from around the world.
Carpe Diem-It is the annual cultural fest organized by the students of IIM Calcutta. It is usually held over a 3-day weekend in February and attracts participation from colleges and schools across India. It is the largest B-School Cultural Fest in Eastern India.
Lattice- It is the annual business symposium organized by the PGPEX students of IIM Calcutta. It is a platform that facilitates the interaction of students of IIM Calcutta with leaders of Indian society and industry. Lattice is usually held in October.

The summer placements for the batch of ’21 witnessed participation from 130+ companies which hired the entire batch of 480 students (the largest batch size ever). Final Placements (Batch of 2020)
The final placements for the batch of 2020saw a participation from 148 companies that rolled out 495 offers to the students, including those from international companies. The highest domestic package was Rs 80 lakh per annum. The finance sector saw recruiters companies such as Edelweiss, Goldman Sachs, and JP Morgan.The consulting sector emerged as the biggest recruiter and the top recruiters in this sector were Accenture, AT Kearney, Bain, BCG, McKinsey.General management firms also recruited in big numbers this year and offers were made in this sector by top firms like ABG, CK Birla, TAS, etc. Sales and marketing roles were predominantly made by firms like HUL, ITC, P&G, Reckitt Benckiser, etc. Apart from these, e-commerce and IT roles also contributed to the total offers and companies like Amazon, Wipro, etc. hired in big numbers. Financial Assistance/Scholarships, Housing, and Fee structure
Housing: IIMC has 3 major hostels which are an old hostel, white hostel, and new hostel with the old hostel being a co-ed hostel. The white hostel and new hostel are male hostels. The newest hostel is in its last stage of completion and would be operational soon. There are common rooms, game rooms, and courts for various sports in all the hostels.
Fee Structure: The total fee for 2 years for the PGP programme is Rs. 27,00,000 and is payable in 4 installments. The fees are exclusive of service taxes and other taxes. This would cover Tuition, Library, accommodation, insurance, Internet, course material, and other insurance charges. Additionally, students need to pay mess charges, electricity charges, and other expenses of personal nature.
Financial Assistance/Scholarships: IIMC ensures financial aid to students in need of monetary assistance. The financial assistance is awarded based on the income slabs formulated to identify the neediest one, up to their annual family income of Rs. 6 Lakhs and the assistance coverage is up to 100% waiver in the tuition fees. The Institute also helps the students to get a bank loan from different banks during the course registration, including for those students who receive financial assistance from the Institute
