The CAT exam 2024 Notification is out. The CAT 2024 exam will be conducted on 24th November this year. The Indian Institute of Management Calcutta will be conducting it this year, last year the same was conducted by IIM Lucknow on 26th November 2023. The CAT 2024 exam will be held in three shifts and the registration will start from August 1, 2024. The following are the Important dates according to the CAT 2024 Notification.

CAT 2024 Eligibility
The aspirants who want to write the CAT 2024 exam should meet the eligilbity criteria given below.
As per the lastest CAT exam Notification the aspiring candidates should have a bachelors degree with a minimum of 50 percent marks or equivalent CGPA and 45% for candidates belonging from SC, ST, and PwD categories. The students who are in final year of thier bachelor’s degree or awaiting results of thier final exam are also eligible for the CAT 2024 exam. To summarize it down the following candidates are eligible for the exam:-
- Candidates who have completed thier Bachelor’s degree with a minimum 50% (45% for students belonging from SC,ST and PwD candidates.
- Final year bachelor’s degree candidates or those awaiting their result are also eligible to appear for the CAT 2024 exam.
- Candidates with professional qualifications such as CA/CS/ICWA can also appear in the CAT.
CAT 2024 Exam Pattern
The CAT 2024 exam will have three sections namely Quantitative Ability, Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension and Logical Reasonng & Data Interpretation, the exam will be held in various test centers across India. A detailed info about the exam is given in the table below:-

About CAT 2024
The Common Admission Test (CAT) is a national level entrance exam conducted by the IIMs whose score acts as a gateway to various IIMs and other top B-schools in India. This year it will be conducted on 24th November in three shifts.
The Application fee for the CAT exam will be as follows:-
- The application fee will be Rs 1250 for the SC, ST and PwD candidates.
- And the application fee for the rest of the candidates will be Rs 2500.
