Aniruddh Singh who is a CAT topper 2024 is a student at iQuanta and has secured 99.89 percentile from 93 percentile in CAT 2022. Aniruddh was a working professional at a big four – PwC. 99.89 Percentile in CAT 2024: My Journey and Gratitude
A very happy 2025 to everyone!
So this is a repost from linkedin. I received a lot of queries on facebook as well, especially from this community about what course I took or what material I used for preparation, so thought of posting this here. Almost everything came from the varioys offerings of iQuanta, which I have specified below for your reference. I can’t express how grateful I am to them, for the significant role they have played in my journey!
Have also shared an outline about the preparation timeline for future aspirants.
Timeline and Schedule:
February – May:
– Attended iQuanta’s theory and application classes while juggling a full-time job.
– Finished the entire syllabus (especially Quant) before June.
Key Takeaways:
– Solve application classes immediately after theory to strengthen concepts.
– I created chart papers for each Quant topic, and put them up on my walls by June (photos attached)—my ultimate cheat code for revising concepts repeatedly. Will write a separate post on this for sure!
June:
– Enrolled in the IIM ABC batch by iQuanta for daily practice material.
– Focused on the 3 RCs, 2 DILR sets, and 10-15 Quant questions shared daily.
July – August:
– Began the mock exam cycle with iQuanta’s iCAT series (tests every Sunday). Also gave mocks on Wednesdays from elsewhere. Tried to stick to actual CAT timings.
– Mock analysis was essential—I’ll share details in a future post.
– On non-mock days, continued with iQuanta’s dashboard or IIM ABC batch material.
September – November:
– Transitioned to sectionals for daily practice.
– Took one sectional per subject on non-mock days and revised Quant weekly.
Exam Strategy:
– VARC: Tackled VA first (8 mins), then RCs (25-30 mins). Returned to Para-Jumbles if time allowed.
– DILR: Prioritized sets in the first 5 minutes. Avoided getting stuck; moved on when needed.
– QA: Used a single-wave strategy—solving as I read. Learned to skip tricky questions.
December:
Scored 99.89 percentile!
I was honored to be felicitated by Jeet Sir at iQuanta’s Gurgaon office and was gifted a MacBook! I’m incredibly grateful to iQuanta for their support and guidance throughout.
Now have enrolled in their GDPIWAT course to prepare for the next phase. Praying for a successful cycle ahead!
