The CLAT 2024 exam was concluded on 3rd December. The Consortium of NLUs successfully conducted the CLAT exam in 139 centers across the country. The Consortium changed the exam pattern and reduced the no. of questions to 120, though time remained unchanged (120 minutes). According to the test takers, the exam was of easy to moderate level, which was quite unexpected. As the paper was easy according to the majority of test takers, you can expect high cutoffs for this year. English Language
The level of difficulty of this section was easy. The majority of the passages were from the Literature genre. The questions were direct, and the option-elimination approach worked in most of the passage-based questions. There were no Vocabulary questions, which was quite surprising.
Logical Reasoning
The CLAT 2024 exam difficulty analysis of this section was easy-moderate. Except for one passage on Product Efficiency, which was quite mind-baffling, the rest of the questions were Shorter and Straightforward. There were a few questions on Inference, Strengths, and weaknesses too.
Legal Reasoning
The level of difficulty of this section was easy. The passages were mainly from Bills like the Juvenile Justice and Protection Bill, Data Protection, Void, and Voidable Marriage. The questions were direct and required basic application of principles.

Quantitative Aptitude
The level of difficulty of this section was from Easy to Moderate. Except for the Population Survey passage the rest of the passages were relatively easier. There were questions from Ratio & Proportion, and Percentage. The questions from Percentages were a bit tricky.
General Knowledge
The level of difficulty of this section was easy, unlike the last two years. Maximum of the questions were passage-based, passages were from hot topics like G20, the Gaza Strip, and ISRO.
The exam analysis of the CLAT 2024 can be concluded by saying that the questions were easy with some exceptional questions. As the paper was easy, the candidates can expect higher cutoffs and the number of attempts would also play a role here. A 95-100 is a good attempt, minor mistakes can cause the candidates more trouble this time as the paper was easy the scores will be a lot closer to each other.

CLAT 2024 Exam Analysis by Students
iQuanta surveyed more than 70 students across various exam centers. Following is the exam analysis of CLAT 2024 given by test takers. Most of the students believe that the CLAT UG exam was of Easy-Moderate difficulty level. Majority of students believe that the cutoffs are going to be very high this year, making it difficult for the candidates to get into the Top NLU. The questions based on Criminal law and Family Law were direct and easy, according to many students.
Most students agreed that the Language section was the easiest of all. When asked about the toughest section, some students believed it was Logical Reasoning while others said it was Quantitative Aptitude. Current Affairs and GK were of moderate level.
CLAT 2024 Exam Analysis: Expected cut-off
As the exam was easy this year, we can the cutoffs to be higher than in previous years. The following factors play a role in deciding the cutoffs for a year:-
