Steps to Check the CLAT Seat Allotment Results
Candidates must follow the below mentioned steps to check the CLAT counselling and seat allotment results:
- They must firstly visit the official website of CLAT
- Then they are required to enter their mobile number and password
- Then they must click on log in
- Then they will be able to check the seat allotment result
What to Expect After Seat Allotment – CLAT 2025 ?
The candidates must know what they should expect after seat allotment for the CLAT 2025 exam. Check below the steps mentioned:
Seat acceptance/Upgradation of Seat/Admission Exit Process
- Seat Acceptance- Candidates can select this option to confirm the choice of their NLU. Once the option is selected the seat of the candidate is confirmed. After this, candidates are not required to sit in the seat allotment rounds and they can complete the remaining admission formalities.
- Upgradation of Seat During CLAT Seat Allotment- This option can be selected when the candidates want to change their allocated institute to their higher choice. Such candidates are required to wait for the next allotment list and then they will be allocated seats as per their preferred college depending on the availability of seats. Thereafter they can complete the remaining admission formalities.
- Exit Formalities from CLAT Seat Allotment – Candidates who do not wish to participate in the current or further rounds of counselling can exit from the seat allotment process. They must note that once they exit they will not be given further chances to participate in the counselling process.
Completion of Admission Formalities of CLAT 2025
After the candidates have accepted the allotted seat or have applied for upgradation then they are required to upload all the required documents on the official website for the purpose of verification. After this the candidates are also required to pay the remaining admission fees to the NLU they have been allotted.
FAQs – CLAT Seat Allotment
After qualifying the CLAT exam, they need to register for the counselling process and select their preferred NLUs. After a seat has been alloted they can confirm their admission and complete their necessary facilities.
CLAT exam is conducted annually, usually in the month of December. Hence, for the year 2025, the exam was conducted on 1st December 2024. It is expected that the CLAT 2026 will be conducted in December 2026.
The candidates who will qualify the CLAT exam 2025 will be eligible for the CLAT counselling process 2025. They must note that the payment button will not be active if they are not selected in the CLAT 2025 exam.
