In this article, we are going to discuss the CLAT seats and its matrix between domicile and general seats of all the NLUs, we will also discuss the total no. of NLU seats in India.
The CLAT Exam is an intermediate exam that acts as a gateway to various top Law Schools in India. There are a total of 24 NLUs accepting the CLAT exam. The total number of seats of NLU in CLAT 2024 is 4616, 3243 for undergraduate law programs and 1373 for post-graduate programs.

CLAT Seats 2024: Synopsis
As discussed above the the total number of seats in NLU for CLAT is 4616. Out of these total seats, a huge chunk of these seats are reserved for the domicile candidates and other reserved candidates, due to which there are very few seats for other candidates. The total CLAT seats for the undergraduate law programs are 3243 seats in all the CLAT-accepting colleges, out of which approximately 800-850 seats are reserved for the domicile candidates.
