The DU MBBS Counselling 2025 dates will be released in the coming months. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), DGHS, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, will conduct DU counselling for admission to Undergraduate (MBBS/BDS) courses for both quotas, i.e. 85% Delhi Quota and 15% All India Quota. The Delhi MBBS Counselling will be conducted in four rounds. All the NEET-qualified candidates will have to register themselves on mcc.nic.in to participate in DU MBBS Counselling 2025. After the seat allotment by the MCC, DGHS, those who are allotted seats in colleges affiliated to the University of Delhi are required to register themselves online on the official portal of the Faculty of Medical Sciences, DU. 

The University of Delhi conducts admission to the MBBS program in three medical colleges, i.e. Lady Hardinge Medical College (LHMC), Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC), University College of Medical Sciences (UCMS) and the BDS program at Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences(MAIDS). The MBBS course duration is around 4½ years, followed by a one-year compulsory rotating Internship Training. DU MBBS Counselling 2025- Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet all the eligibility requirements before applying for the DU MBBS Counselling. Any student found ineligible at any stage will be disqualified from the further admission process. Check the detailed eligibility criteria below:

  • Candidates must be 17 years old at the time of admission or will complete that age on or before 31 December of their admission year to the first year of the MBBS program.
  • Indian Citizens/ Overseas Citizens of India (OCI)/Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), and Foreign Nationals are eligible for admission.
  • Passed 12th standard with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as main subjects.
  • Candidates who fail to qualify the NEET-UG 2025 exam will not be eligible.

DU MBBS Counselling 2025- Step-by-Step Process

The Delhi NEET counselling 2025 is divided into numerous steps, including registration, choice filling & locking, seat allotment, counselling result, and reporting to colleges. The counselling process will be held in three rounds, followed by a mop-up round. Here is the step-by-step guide for the DU MBBS Counselling 2025 process shared below for candidates’ reference.

Registration

Candidates need to first register online to be a part of the DU NEET counselling. They will have to submit all the valid details like NEET UG roll number, personal, educational, and other required details. After this, they need to create strong password based on the given guidelines. Next, they need to click the “submit” button for further steps.

Choice Filling & Locking

Upon the successful registration, candidates will have to fill in their choice/preference of colleges for the MBBS course and lock their choices after the successful selection. They must thoroughly check the filled choices before locking, as no request for edit/modification will be accepted after the choices are locked.

Seat Allotment

The seat allotment in DU MBBS counselling is conducted in various rounds. The candidates will be allotted seats based on their filled choices, NEET UG rank, seat availability, and other parameters. 

DU MBBS Counselling Result

After the seat allotment, the Delhi MBBS counselling result will be announced. It will be released in a PDF file comprising the names and other details of candidates shortlisted for further admission process.

Reported to Allotted Institutes

Candidates will have to report to the allotted colleges with all the required documents for verification and also for payment of fees to confirm their admission. They must go to the allocated colleges in the stipulated period prescribed by the authorities.

Delhi MBBS Counselling 2025 Registration with FMSc

After successful seat allotment by the MCC, DGHS, candidates who are allotted seats in colleges affiliated to the University of Delhi will have to register with the Faculty of Medical Sciences (FMSc) website. Here is the detailed guide to register online with FMSc.

  • Go to the official  Faculty of Medical Sciences (FMSc) website, ie, fmsc.du.ac.in.
  • On the homepage, click “Courses” and then “Undergraduate Courses (MBBS/BDS).
  • Hit the online link under Course updates UG (MBBS/BDS).
  • Now,  create the login details as a first-time user.
  • Enter the NEET-UG 2025 Roll No and Date of Birth in the “Confirm your Information” webpage.
  • Click “View” to check your details and then “Confirm” to proceed further.
  • Now, enter a valid Mobile number and Email ID for New Registration.
  • Next, create a password to register online successfully.
  • Now, log in using your registered email ID and password to fill out the online registration form.
  • Click “Save” and proceed to view the details filled in the online form.
  • Upload all the required documents in the prescribed format, such as a passport-size photograph, a signature, and self-attested copies of the NEET UG admit card, the NEET UG scorecard, and other documents.
  • Pay the registration fees for the final submission.
  • Download or print the confirmation page for future reference.
