GMAT Exam: Brief Summary

A GMAT(Graduate Management Admission Test) exam is a computer- based test which assesses candidates through quantitative, verbal and data literacy knowledge. The exam is taken for admission into different management programs offered by the colleges. 

GMAT is a 2 hour and 15 minute test. The mode of the exam is in ENGLISH medium. The management offers you to take up this exam multiple times a year i.e. you can take up this exam 5 times a year and eight times as per the lifetime attempts limit. The GMAT exam has no negative marking. They do not penalize you for the wrong answers that you have marked. The exam has reduced the exam section from four to three this year i.e. 2024. These are the Quantitative section, Verbal section and Data Insights. The score scale of the GMAT exam has been re-adjusted from 200- 800 to  205- 805 from this year

There is no age bar as such. Candidates who have attained 18 years of age and above are eligible to appear for the GMAT exam. The test allows you to appear for the exam
