Seat Intake of NLUs and Low Success Rate

The success rate in the CLAT exam is very low as compared to other exams. Only 4 to 6% of the candidates who are participating in the CLAT exam make it to the top NLUs. The low success rate in CLAT exam is due to limited seats and high competition. Remaining students either appear in other law exams or use their CLAT scores to get admission into other law colleges accepting CLAT scores. The number of NLUs has increased to 25 in the last 5 years which in turn has improved the overall seat intake in NLUs. In total NLUs offer 4000+ seats combining all the programmes.
