What’s New in NEET 2025?
NTA has stated that applicants Aadhar details like name and date of birth should be same as mentioned in Class 10 admit card and passing certificate. Moreover, the facial recognition data should be up to date. If this is not done, they need to visit the nearest Aadhar Enrollment or Update Centre to update the details before the NEET 2025 application process commences.
This is done to ensure transparency and efficiency in the registration and verification process. It is mandatory for students to provide their Aadhar details when filling out the NEET application form 2025.
In 2025, Automated Permanent Academic Registry (APAAR) ID will be created at the time of NEET registration. The APAAR ID and Aadhar Card will be integrated.
Know the Eligibility Criteria Before You Apply for NEET 2025

How to Fill NEET Application Form 2025?
Applicants after meeting the eligibility criteria need to start with registration, filling out the application form, uploading the scanned documents and paying the application fees. The NEET application form PFF will be available in exams.nta.ac.in/NEET/. Here is the step-by-step guide to fill out the NEET 2025 application form:
Step 1: NEET Registration Process 2025
Candidates need to visit the NEET official website- exams.nta.ac.in/NEET/. Next, they need to click on the NEET UG 2025 Registration Link. Applicants then need to click on “New Registration”. They need to fill in the following details like name of the candidate, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, gender, category, nationality, PwD options, email id and password. Candidates also need to provide their identification type and number at this step. The identification type can be PAN Card, Passport l, Digilocker ID, Aadhar Card, and Academic Bank of Credits (ABC ID). Then they need to enter the security pin and click on ‘Confirm’.
Step 2: Completing the NEET Application Process 2025
Applicants after registering need to click on ‘Click Here to Login’ using their NEET application number 2025 and password. They can also login using their Digilocker ID and Academic Bank of Credits account number (ABC ID). The NEET Application Form 2025 release date is last week of January, 2025.
After logging in, applicants can access the NEET 2025 application form. The information that was entered during the registration process will be automatically entered in the application form.
The application form is divided into multiple sections. All the sections and questions are provided below:
- Enter the personal details like candidate’s name, father’s and mother’s name, category, gender, date of birth, nationality, persons with disability, minority category, suffering from Diabetes Type I, identification number, and identification type.
- Enter the place of birth, district, and state.
- Next, candidates need to select their choice of question paper medium. They can select any one of the following languages as their medium of exam – Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.
- Applicants then need to select two examination centers from the options provided in the application form.
- Then they need to fill out the academic details separately for Class 10, Class 11 and Class 12.

- Next, they need to enter their permanent address and correspondence address i.e. present address. If the addresses are the same, they need to tick the box against the same as the permanent address.
- NEET Applicants then need to fill in details of parents or legal guardian like occupation, qualification, and annual income.
- Next, they need to select Yes/No for the following questions:
- Do you intend to wear a customary dress contrary to the dress code while appearing for the exam?
- If you belong to PwBD category? ( If the answer is Yes, they need to mention the percentage of disability abd if they need a scribe
- If you are a diabetic?
- If you have a twin sibling who also intends to appear for NEET 2025?
- In case of female candidates, if you are the only child of your parents?
- If you have appeared for NEET before?
- Next, applicants need to select their mode of preparation from the following options – Self Study, Coaching, Correspondence, Others
- Lastly, they need to enter the Security Pin displayed and click on ‘Review Before Submitting’.
- Candidates then need to click on “Yes, Please Do’ option that pops up after clicking on ‘Confirm’.
The NEET application form 2025 last date April, 2025. Candidates must make sure they complete and submit the application form before the date specified.
Step 3: Upload Documents for NEET Application 2025
Applicants then need to click on ‘Upload Documents’ select the documents that need to be uploaded, preview the image to ensure that the images are clear and then click on ‘Next’. To make sure this stage is completed smoothly, they need to keep the scanned copies of the document ready in the prescribed size. The requirements are tabulated below:

Step 4: NEET Application Fee Payment 2025
Applicants are then directed to the fee payment page. They need to pay the NEET application fee either through Syndicate/SBI/ICICI/HDFC/Paytm Payment Gateway through UPI/NetBanking/Debit Card/Credit Card.
