It is very important for an aspirant while building their IIFT strategy to have a stronghold on all four sections of the syllabus: VARC, QA, LRDI & GA and for that, the aspirant needs to give their equal focus on each section as they can be more confident while giving the exam.

1. IIFT Strategy : VARC

There will be 35 multiple-choice questions in the VARC segment. This part of the question paper carries the most weight and is usually of moderate difficulty. The Reading Comprehension passages are straightforward and based on facts. This portion is manageable because there are no inference-based passages. The best IIFT strategy for the VARC section would be to develop a reading habit. Because each passage is typically 800 words long, candidates must concentrate on reading speed. Develop your reading speed and improve your grammar to prepare for this section. Read editorials in newspapers, blogs, books and short stories, and so forth. Try to memorise as many RC passages as possible.

2. IIFT Strategy : QA

Choosing the right question is the IIFT strategy to tackle this section. This is where right selection comes into play. Because time management is so important in the exam, you should start with the easy questions and solve them first.

Prepare a full understanding of the fundamental ideas of Arithmetic, Algebra, Trigonometry, Binomial Theorem, Probability, Permutation and Combinations, and Geometry & Modern Math. Use shortcuts to your advantage.

Instead utilising a pen and paper every time, excel at mental calculations while preparing. Only attempt questions in mock examinations for which you have 100% accuracy, as this method will prepare you for the actual exam day. You rely significantly on basics in this situation. So work on strengthening your fundamental concepts.

3. IIFT Strategy: LRDI

Because the DILR section of the IIFT exam is the most difficult, you should concentrate on mastering the concepts. Take a topic mock to review your understanding of the topics once you’ve grasped them. All you need to pass through this section is to take mock exams at the end of each lesson and evaluate your mental strength. Test yourself on a variety of questions based on significant topics.

Memorise decimal conversions, squares, cubes, and tables till 30, as well as Alphabet values and other vital formulas. This practise will help you establish a basic understanding of how to solve any question and improve your ability to identify and solve simple sets effectively. Focus on accuracy and speed will come with time.

4. IIFT Strategy: GA

To properly learn about GA issues, make sure you acquire appropriate resources in accordance with IIFT’s criteria.
