IIM Bangalore, India’s a la carte business school is the dream of many MBA aspirants in the country. It is famous for its stone wall, sprawling lawns, wooden benches, and beautiful lush green campus. The academic life of a student in IIMB is rigorous and demanding with classes starting from 9 in the morning to even 5:30 in the evening. Every student has to go to a class prepared with readings and assignments for a healthy discussion in class. There are around 30 clubs and committees in IIM Bangalore which has its own selection process for the junior batches. Each club and committee conducts various workshops, competitions and events through out the year. Such events provide an environment conducive to learning and keeps the students engaged in extra-curricular activities. The curriculum and teaching pedagogy puts heavy emphasis on learning from Industry stalwarts and hence various opportunities are provided to students to interact and learn from them. For the first-year students of PGP MBA, there are classes for the first four days of the week whereas Fridays and Saturdays are off. These days are not for leisure but are packed with club activities, events, and competitions. These act as a means to connect and network with people to build meaningful and long-term friendships. In the second year of PGP, students choose different electives based on their domains, and classes are held accordingly.

IIM Banglore Cut-offs

IIM Bangalore admission is a two-step process. In the first step, candidates with valid CAT 2023 are shortlisted for the Writing ability test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI). Candidates above minimum cutoffs in the sectional percentile ranks, the overall percentile rank and having a positive (greater than zero) raw score in all sections of the CAT exam are to be considered for the next stage.
