IIM Cap also known as the IIM Common Admission Process is a single window admission process for admission to the MBA and PGP programs. IIM Cap process 2025 is expected to start in the month of February. There are a total of 8 IIMs participating in IIM CAP 2025. These 8 IIMs are new IIMs or baby IIMs. Candidates are selected for final admission based on the CAT scores, academic scores, diversity, work experience, performance in the PI and others. IIM CAP cutoff has been released and general category candidates must have a 95 percentile. IIM Cap is a common admission process for admission to the MBA program at the baby IIMs. The selection process is common for the participating colleges. IIM Nagpur, IIM Bodh Gaya, IIM Jammu, IIM Kashipur, IIM Raipur, IIM Ranchi, IIM Sirmaur, IIM Trichy and IIM Udaipur are the participating IIM CAP colleges. Every year the conducting body of IIM CAP changes. IIM CAP admission criteria includes CAT scores, academic record, work experience and performance in WAT and PI.

IIM CAP Registration 2025Â
- IIM CAP official website – Visit the official website of IIM CAP and click on Register Now. Here you have to create an ID to register for IIM CAP 2025 using your mobile number and email ID. For verification an OTP will be sent to your registered email id or phone number.
- Create a password – After entering your OTP you will be redirected to a log in page where you have to generate a strong password.
- Create your account – Now after generating your password you will get a log in window and you have to enter your ID and password and you will finally register for IIM CAP 2025.
How to Apply for IIM CAP 2025?
- IIM CAP Registration 2025 – Once you have registered for IIM CAP on the official website you have to now submit the IIM CAP application form 2025.
- Personal Information – Next you will have to add all the personal information such as your name, date of birth, CAT registration number, nationality, gender, nationality, etc.
- Academic qualification – Here you have to add your academic qualification in IIM CAP application form 2025. This includes class 10 marks, class 12 marks, graduation marks, year of passing, etc. Apart from this you also have to upload your respective mark sheets.
- Work experience – Now add your work experience in chronological order. Details such as number of years, monthly salary, details about the organization, etc are to be mentioned.
- Extracurricular/Co Curricular Activities – Fill in the co curricular activities and its achievements in this section of IIM CAP application form.
- Declaration – Now you have to sign and complete the declaration form and click on the submit button.
IIM CAP Results 2025
IIM Cap result 2024 release date is expected in the first week of May 2025. Candidates can check IIM CAP results on the official website of IIM CAP. The results of IIM CAP is released in the form of a merit list.

- IIM CAP Registration – Candidates have to first register for IIM CAP 2025.
- Select the IIM Campus – Next candidates have to fill in their choice of campus in the IIM CAP application process.
- Meeting IIM CAP Cutoff – Candidates have to meet the overall and sectional cutoff of IIM CAP.
- Shortlisting for IIM CAP admission process – Based on the CAT scores candidates are shortlisted for WAT and PI round.
- WAT and PI of IIM CAP – Selected candidates have to qualify the WAT and PI round.

Candidates are shortlisted for IIM CAP 2025 on the basis of CAT scores and further they have to qualify the personal interview. The final shortlisting during IIM CAP is done based on the CAT scores, academic profile, work experience (not mandatory), overall profile and PI scores.
No work experience is not mandatory for IIM CAP 2025 however the work experience of the candidate is given weightage.
