IIM Lucknow is the official conducting body for CAT 2023. IIM Lucknow Eligibility Criteria 2024
If a student is targeting IIM Lucknow for admission, they should be aware of the eligibility criteria for IIM Lucknow.
- You must hold a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution in any field with 50% aggregate score.
- 45% aggregate score in graduation if you belong to SC, ST or PwD categories.
- The bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification obtained by the candidate must entail a minimum of three years of education after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) or equivalent.
- Final year students are also eligible to apply given that they complete their final semester exams and fulfill the aforementioned criteria at the time of admission.
- You must have undertaken the CAT 2023 exam in order to be eligible for IIM Lucknow admission in the batch of 2024-2026.
IIM Lucknow Application Fee :
There is no additional application fee that needs to be paid for IIM Lucknow. The IIM Lucknow application will be included in the CAT registration.
Stage I(a) : Minimum CAT Cutoff for IIM Lucknow Selection Criteria
For the stage I in the IIM Lucknow selection process, candidates who are able to achieve a minimum of the following overall and sectional percentiles in CAT 2023 will be shortlisted for stage II. Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of CAT 2023 score, previous academic performance, and other criteria as mentioned below. For MBA-SM, minimum work experience of 24 months is an additional Eligibility Criterion.

Stage I(b) : Calculation of the Composite Score for Shortlisting for WAT-PI stage
Only the candidates securing the above-mentioned minimum sectional and total percentiles for the respective category in CAT 2023 will be considered for Stage 1b. The composite scores in Stage 1b shall be computed based on the factors described in the table below.

Stage I(c) : Scheduling for WAT-PI
The composite score (based on Stage 1b) for the candidates who qualify in Stage 1a, and the shortlist for WATPI process shall be available on our official website. Such candidates shall be required to fill-in and submit the WAT-PI form online by the stipulated deadline. The candidates, who fail to submit their WATPI form online by the prescribed time limit, shall not be allowed for the WAT-PI process. Furthermore, no queries in this regard shall be entertained by IIM Lucknow. Candidates are advised to check the official website of IIM Lucknow regularly after the declaration of CAT-2023 result for the updates/ notifications related to the admission process.
Stage II : Criteria for Final Selection of candidates for MBA/MBA-ABM/MBA-SM program
A candidate’s final score for selection in MBA/MBA-ABM/MBA-SM program for the batch 2024–26 will be calculated on the basis of the assigned weights as summarized in Table below
