Campus Life at IIM Trichy

Beginning with the hostels, at IIM Trichy, you get to have a single room all to yourself. Being that the campus is new and only a few years old, the rooms are new and you are provided with a bed, a desk, a shelf, a cupboard, and an attached bathroom all for yourself. A bonus to the hostels is the lifts. To rejuvenate, as a student of IIM Trichy, you are allowed access to the gym and the Sports Complex. The Sports Complex is where you can find indoor squash courts, table tennis courts, and tennis courts. Outdoors, you have the basketball courts and multi-purpose grounds.

A usual day at IIM Trichy begins around 7:30 to 8:00 am. Fresh and dressed for the day, you would head to the mess for a quick breakfast if you think you have enough time. Most often, you’ll be rushing to get to the classes on time, the last minute. Then, it’s generally, a mix of classes and guest lectures until around 3 in the evening. After some rest, then it’s back to assignments, case studies, and group work. Once you’re done with your submissions and revisions, that is when ‘campus life’ truly begins.
