Regular Candidates	Valid CAT Score Graduate Degree from any discipline with over 60% of the marks in the result. For Final year students, you must provide a provisional certificate and final marksheet within two months of admission.  IIT Graduates who have obtained a CGPA of 8 and above in their undergraduate are exempted from the CAT Score.
Sponsored Candidates	Proper paperwork submission from the official channel Graduate Degree from any discipline with over 60% of the marks  (55% for SC/ST/PwD)  in the result. For Final year students, you must provide a provisional certificate and final marksheet within two months of admission.
Foreign Candidates	Valid GMAT ScoreGraduate Degree from any discipline with over 60% of the marks in the result. For Final year students, you must provide a provisional certificate and final marksheet within two months of admission.
Defense Personnel	Defense Personnel are exempted from the CAT score and can apply through respective government agencies. Graduate Degree from any discipline with over 55% of the marks in the result.

IIT Madras MBA Selection Process 2025

Stage 1: All candidates must complete all the details of the IIT Madras MBA Application with utmost care after verifying all the details. This includes entering your CAT Score, Past Academic Performance, Work Experience, Academic Diversity, and Gender Diversity. A detailed breakdown is given below in the selection criteria. 

Stage 2: Selected candidates will appear for a reflective writing test and IIT Madras personal interview, highlighting their communication skills, academic knowledge, knowledge of current affairs, work experience, and other relevant achievements. Candidates must note that all these given things are included as parameters in their final selection criteria. 

Stage 3: After the second stage, all the selected candidates will be given a final admission offer letter based on their composite score.
