The NEET NTA UG 2025 exam pattern has undergone several changes. It has been reverted to its pre-covid format. It implies that section B and optional questions are no longer part of this exam. Now, the exam comprises 180 questions including 45 questions each for physics and chemistry and 90 questions for biology. The NEET test duration shall be 180 minutes. NEET APAAR ID Not Compulsory for Registration
As per the latest notice, NTA has notified that the NEET Apaar ID is not compulsory for registration. Aspirants register for the NEET UG exam through other modes mentioned in the notification. APAAR ID was previously called as Academic Bank of Credits (ABC ID). It is built to digitally preserve students’ academic credits. It also maintains a record of their academic history.
Eligibility Criteria for NEET NTA
Aspirants must fulfil all the NEET NTA eligibility criteria before applying for the entrance exam. They must enter only valid and correct details in the NEET application form to avoid cancellation of the candidature. Let’s discuss the NEET age limit and other requirements below:
- The minimum NEET age limit shall be 17 years with no upper age limit.
