About IIM Jammu IPM
Designed for students who aim at having a career in Business Management the IIM Jammu IPM program (introduced first in 2021) a five-year degree course, in which the first three years builds a foundation of managerial study & the last two years include Post Graduate Program in Management. The aim of the IIM Jammu IPM program is to cast students in a framework that provides outstanding managerial and leadership qualities.
Eligibility Criteria
For a candidate to be able to appear for JIPMAT, he/she must meet the following eligibility criteria.
- Age: The maximum age of a candidate should be 20 years.
- Minimum Percentage (%) of marks and qualifying exams: The candidate should have passed standard XII/HSC or equivalent examination with a minimum 60% (55 % for the candidates from SC/ST/ PwD category)
Selection Process
The IIM Jammu IPM program selection procedure is twofold and is based on a candidate’s overall performance in JIPMAT and evaluation of past academic records.

Fold 1: The interested candidates will first have to qualify for JIPMAT (Joint Integrated Programme in Management Admission Test) conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency (NTA).
Fold 2: Only the candidates shortlisted through JIPMAT will proceed to the second stage, i.e., evaluation of past academic records.
Only those candidates satisfying the requirements mentioned in earlier stages will be considered for the final selection and a category wise merit list will be generated based on Composite Score (CS).

Highlights and Exam Pattern
- JIPMAT is conducted in online mode.
- The duration of JIPMAT is 150 minutes
Note: Each question will carry 4 marks. There will be a negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer. All the questions will be multiple-choice questions.

Seat Availability and Reservation Policy
Total seats available:
60 Candidates belonging to Non-Creamy ‐OBC, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and PwD categories need to produce valid Caste certificate(s) in support of their reservation category and candidates belonging to Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) need to produce a valid document ascertaining the eligibility of the candidate to apply under EWS category.
