IPMAT Eligibility Criteria 2025: Age Limit (Updated)

The Integrated Program in Management Aptitude Test, commonly known as the IPMAT exam is an after-12th exam. The IPMAT exam’s score acts as a gateway to various top IIMs and other top Management Institutes. In this article, we are going to discuss the IPMAT Eligibility criteria of IIM Indore, IIM Ranchi, IIM Rohtak, IIM Jammu, IIM Bodhgaya, and IIFT Kakinada.
There are three IPMAT exams in India, namely IIM Indore, IIM Rohtak, and JIPMAT exams.

IIM Indore Eligibility Criteria

Candidates satisfying the following IPMAT eligibility criteria are eligible to apply for the Five-Year Integrated Programme in Management of IIM Indore.

AgeCandidate should have been born on or after August 01, 2004 (5 years of relaxation to the candidates from SC/ST/PwD category will be given, i.e. born on or after August 01, 1999).
Qualifying ExamCandidate should have passed Standard XII/HSC or equivalent examination
in 2023, 2024, or appearing in 2025.
Minimum PercentageCandidates belonging to the General/OBC/EWS category should have a minimum of 60% in Class X and Class XII.
Candidates belonging to the SC/ST/PwD category should have a minimum of 55% in Class X and Class XII.

Note 1: Candidates completing standard XII/HSC or equivalent by July 31, 2025, can apply if they meet the eligibility criteria mentioned above. If selected, such candidates will be offered admission to the program provisionally.
Note 2: Candidates should calculate X and XII Standard percentages based on all subjects on the mark sheet, regardless of Board regulations.

Candidates satisfying the following IPMAT eligibility criteria are eligible to apply for the Five-Year Integrated Programme in Management of IIM Ranchi.

AgeThere is no age limit for the applicants.
Qualifying ExamCandidates should have passed the 10th standard/Secondary/SSC Examination and the 12th standard/Higher Secondary/HSC Examination (or equivalent) with 60% (55% for candidates from SC/ST/PwD) or more marks. 
Minimum PercentageCandidates belonging to the General/OBC/EWS category should have a minimum of 60% in Class X and Class XII according to the IPMAT eligibility criteria.
Candidates belonging to the SC/ST/PwD category should have a minimum of 55% in Class X and Class XII.

Note- Candidates should calculate 10th and 12th standard percentages per Board regulations. If no specific regulation exists for aggregate marks, include all subjects from the grade sheet in the percentage calculation.

IIM Rohtak Eligibility Criteria

Candidates satisfying the following eligibility criteria for the IPMAT exam are eligible to apply for the Five-Year Integrated Programme in Management of IIM Rohtak.

AgeMaximum 20 years of age as of June 30, 2025, for all the students.
Qualifying ExamCandidates who are likely to complete standard XII/ HSC or equivalent by the end of June 2025 can apply.
Minimum PercentageAs per the IPMAT eligibility criteria, the minimum percentage required are :
General, NC-OBC, and EWS Category: Minimum 60% in standard X/ SSC and standard XII/ HSC or equivalent examinations.
SC, ST, and PWD (DAP) Category: Minimum 55% in standard X/ SSC and standard XII/ HSC or equivalent examinations.

Note- Calculate the candidate’s X and XII Standard percentages using the aggregate marks of the best five subjects on the mark sheet, regardless of Board regulations. If grades are given instead of marks, follow the certified conversion method provided by the Board/Competent Authority for the best five subjects’ percentage calculation.

IIM Jammu Eligibility Criteria

Candidates satisfying the following criteria are eligible to apply for the Five-Year Integrated Programme in Management of IIM Jammu.

Qualifying ExamCandidate should have passed Standard XII/HSC or equivalent examination in 2022,2023 or appearing in 2025. The candidate must have passed Standard X/ SSC or equivalent examination in the year 2020 or later.
Minimum PercentageCandidate should have a minimum of 60% in standard Xth/SSC and standard XII/ HSC or equivalent examinations (55% for the candidates from SC/ST/PwD category). Candidates who are likely to complete standard XII/HSC or equivalent by the end of July 31, 2025, can also apply.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts the Joint Integrated Programme in Management Admission Test (JIPMAT). The IPMAT eligibility criteria for all the participating colleges are decided by the college authorities.

IIM Bodhgaya Eligibility Criteria

Candidates satisfying the following criteria are eligible to apply for the Five-Year Integrated Programme in Management of IIM Bodhgaya.

Qualifying ExamCandidates should have passed the 10+2/XII/HSC examination in the year 2024 or appearing in 2025.
Candidate must have passed the class 10th examination on or after 2021.
Minimum PercentageGeneral/OBC/EWS Candidates should have passed the 10th and 12th examinations with a minimum of 60%.
SC/ST/PwD Candidates should have passed the 10th and 12th examinations with a minimum of 55% according to IPMAT eligibility criteria.

Note: Candidates must calculate their Class X and Class XII marks as per board regulations. If the board doesn’t specify aggregate marks, consider all subjects on the grade sheet for the percentage calculation for the IPMAT eligibility criteria.

Candidates satisfying the following IPMAT eligibility criteria are eligible to apply for the Five-Year Integrated Programme in Management of IIFT Kakinada.

AgeA candidate should have been born on or after August 01, 2004 (5 years of relaxation to the candidates from SC/ST/PwD category will be given i.e. born on or after August 01, 1999).
Qualifying ExamThe candidate must have passed class 10th (not before) 2020.
The candidate should have passed the 10+2/XII/HSC examination in the years 2023, and 2024 or appearing in 2025.
Minimum PercentageCandidates should have passed the class 10th and 10+2/XII/HSC examination with a minimum of 60%. (55% for candidates from SC/ST/PwD/Transgender) according to the IPMAT Eligibility Criteria.

Note- Mathematics/Business Mathematics as a subject in the class 12th or +2 level is mandatory in IIFT Kakinda.
