NTA released the JEE Main 2025 session 2 schedule on their official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates can now check the same here. The authority is yet to announce the day-wise JEE Main exam dates online. JEE Main 2025 exam will be held between April 1 to 8, for session 2. JEE Main aspirants can check the schedule for 2025 for session 2 and stay updated with the new information. JEE Main Session 2 Exam 2025: Key Highlights
- Session 2 JEE Main 2025 exam will be held in the online mode. Exception is the drawing test of paper 2, which will be in offline mode.
- Compensatory time of 20 minutes per hour shall be given to PwD/ PwBD candidates.
- As it is a computer based exam, the test shall be terminated automatically on completion of time.
- Test takers must reach the venue early and will be allowed to enter the JEE exam hall 2 hours prior to the scheduled start of the exam.
- The candidates will be able to log in and read the instructions 10 minutes prior to the commencement of the JEE Mains session 2 exam.
JEE Main 2025 Eligibility Criteria
To apply for JEE Main 2025, candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Educational Qualification: Applicants must have completed class 12 or an equivalent exam from a recognized board or institutions.
- Year of Passing: Candidates who passed class 12 in 2023, are appearing in 2024, or will appear in 2025 are eligible.
- Required Subjects: For B.E./ B.Tech programs, candidates must have studied physics, mathematics, and one of the following: chemistry, biology or technical vocational subjects. For B.Arch, the required subjects are mathematics, physics, and chemistry. For B.Plan, mathematics is compulsory.
- Minimum Marks: General category candidates must secure at least 75% in their class 12 exams or be in the top 20 percentile of their respective boards. SC/ST candidates must have at least 65%.
- Age Limit: There is no age limit for candidates applying for JEE Main 2025.
- Number of Attempts: Candidates can attempt JEE Main upto three consecutive years after completion of class 12.

JEE Main 2025 application form for session 2 has been released on February 1, 2025. The application process involves registration, filling out the form, uploading documents, and paying fees. Follow these steps to apply:
- Registration: Fill out the registration form with accurate information.
- Filling the form: Providing personal information, and educational information, selecting the exam and then applying for the exam.
- Upload Photograph: Upload a photo, signature, address, proof, category certificate and PwD certificate.
- Fee payment: Payment of the application fee online through debit, credit card, net banking or UPI. Print the confirmation page.
