Challenges in NEET Hybrid Mode 2025

While the NEET hybrid mode 2025 improves security and reduces chances of human error, it has its downfalls. The implementation of NEET hybrid mode in India will bring into picture bigger economic issues such as the imbalance in distribution of resources within the Indian society. While on one hand, urban areas have access to digital infrastructure, remote areas on the other hand do not have adequate resources to conduct the NEET exam in online mode.

As a result, the economic disparity factor prevalent in Indian society can go against the principle of equity and fairness in upholding the NEET NTA exam 2025. Another concern is that NEET aspirants and exam evaluators may be unfamiliar with online testing methods. As a result, proper training before conducting the exam is required. Also, the NEET paperless exam will be prone to technological vulnerabilities such as technical glitches, power failure, server connectivity issues etc. The table below compiles the challenges in NEET hybrid mode 2025.

Impact on the NEET Aspirants

The decision to shift NEET 2025 to hybrid mode comes after students raised security concerns ranging from paper leaks to logistical problems in distributing and collecting papers, manual errors in evaluation, etc. The Education Ministry has held two rounds with shareholders and experts to discuss “how to improve NEET exam standards.” Since the NEET exam is conducted at the national level, a change in its mode will impact nearly 20 lakh students across India preparing for admissions to MBBS, BDS, etc.

Upon implementation of the NEET hybrid mode, candidates may have to alter their preparation strategy to adjust to the online mechanism. This involves learning the features of CBT mode, developing an on-screen reading habit, practicing in online mode, keeping an eye on the screen timer, etc. Candidates belonging to rural areas might face problems such as access to computers, online mock tests, online reading resources, the internet, etc. Check the table below for the hybrid mode impact on NEET aspirants.
