NMIMS Placement Shocking Numbers: Highest & Average Package Higher Than IIMs – Full Data Inside!

NMIMS Mumbai is one of the top MBA colleges in India, often hailed as one of the top non-IIMs to crack with the NMAT exam. Aside from competing with a number of top MBA schools, it also puts new and baby IIMs to the test in terms of placement and overall experience. In 2024, NMIMS Placement breaks records with its placement figures in MBA Core and MBA HR programs. NMIMS average salary stands at 25.13 LPA in the MBA Core program and NMIMS Average Salary stands at 18.64 LPA in the MBA HR program. An astounding number for all aspirants since this is a figure many new and baby IIMs have missed. Moreover, this year was made special with the top 10% of the batch scoring an average package of 40.60 LPA. More importantly, NMIMS highest package was 67.70 LPA in the recent placement. 

The most number of job offers were made by BFSI and Conglomerate companies. Even when looking at roles, an excellent placement record can be seen marking the biggest comeback of NMIMS in terms of placement season 2024. 

NMIMS Placement Highlights 2024

This year, the NMIMS Core MBA program set new benchmarks alongside the MBA HR program. Despite an average batch age of 23.8 and 23.4 years, respectively, these young professionals secured high-paying jobs with 26 and 21.5 months of work experience. A remarkable achievement that many institutes find challenging. Notably, job role diversification has expanded beyond BFSI to include coveted consulting roles. Placements were seamless, with firms extending numerous PPOs—37% for the MBA Core batch and 27% for the MBA HR batch—before the formal placement process.
