PGDBA Important Dates 2023

Following are the important dates to keep in mind for PGDBA 2023.

PGDBA Eligibility Criteria

  • A candidate must possess a graduate or postgraduate degree with (10+2+4) or (10+2+5) or (10+2+3+2), in the qualifying degree (i.e., a B.Tech., B.E., M.Sc., M.Com. or equivalent) with at least 60% marks or a CGPA of 6.5 on a 10-point scale. A one-year MBA is not equivalent to an M.Sc. or M.Com.
  • Candidates with 10+3 (Engineering diploma) +3 (lateral entry into B.E./ B.Tech.) with at least 60% marks or CGPA 6.5 on a 10-point scale in the Qualifying Degree (i.e., B.Tech./ B.E.), or with 10+2+4 (B.Sc.) with at least 60% marks or CGPA 6.5 on a 10-point scale in the Qualifying Degree (i.e., B.Sc.), or with B.Com. + CA with at least 60% marks (Intermediate and Final examinations of the CA considered together) are also eligible.
  • The minimum score required to be eligible for the SC/ST and candidates with Disabilities (PwD) categories is 55%, or a CGPA of 6.0 on a scale of 1 to 10.
  • The CGPA will not be converted into percentage marks even if the degree awarding Institute provides marks in CGPA system. Their admission will be based on the CGPA awarded in the transcript. If the CGPA is on a different scale than 10, the eligibility of a candidate will be based on the equivalence of the CGPA on a 10-point scale.
  • Candidates, who are in the final year, are also eligible to apply provided they appear in the final examination and complete other academic requirements as specified above by 15 June 2023. For such cases, admission will be provisional subject to submission of final mark sheet by 30 November 2023.

Section-Wise PGDBA Strategy

1. PGDBA Strategy For Quantitative Aptitude

The most basic PGDBA strategy for Quant would be to start from the very basics. Take up Number System as a starter. Start from the very basics; percentages, averages, calculations, etc. Moving on from the basics, you must have noticed in the PGDBA syllabus that the PGDBA exam is Mathematics oriented. It consists of topics from Classes XI and XII. A thorough revision through the NCERT books will also prove to be very helpful. 2. PGDBA Strategy For Logical Reasoning & Data Interpretation
